Terms of Service

Last updated: March 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MuxAgent mobile application, CLI daemon software, and relay service (collectively, the "Service") operated by MuxAgent ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using MuxAgent, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

MuxAgent provides a mobile application and CLI daemon that allow you to remotely manage AI coding agents running on your machines. The Service includes a relay server that facilitates encrypted communication between your devices.

3. User Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your devices and cryptographic keys.
  • You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your paired devices.
  • You must not attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.

4. Open Source Software

The MuxAgent CLI is open source software released under its respective license on GitHub. Your use of the open source components is additionally governed by the terms of that license. In case of conflict between these Terms and the open source license, the open source license prevails for the applicable component.

5. End-to-End Encryption

All communication between your devices is encrypted end-to-end. We do not have access to the plaintext content of your sessions, code, or conversations. You are solely responsible for the content transmitted through the Service.

6. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuxAgent shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time by uninstalling the mobile app and CLI daemon. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the relay service if you violate these Terms.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
